What is the Declaration of Independence?

The Declaration of Independence is one of the most important documents in the American history. It is the very first foundation set for the thirteen colonies to become the United States of America. The Declaration of Independence is a document with which the American revolution finally takes form and clear goal in front of it. While yes, everyone knew they were fighting for freedom and a better life, the Declaration of Independence is the document that united the desire of every American to be free and expressed it in words.

The job of writing the Declaration of Independence or at least the original draft fell in the hands of Thomas Jefferson. In it, he explained formally the right for freedom and revolution that stirred into every revolutionary that fought for forming the United States of America. The Declaration of Independence was signed on July 2nd, with no opposition whatsoever. The decision was unanimous.

This is one of the best and well-known sentences in the English Language. It is actually a part of the Declaration of Independence itself.
