What are the Civil Rights?
So lately we spoke with you about the Civil Rights and the Civil Rights movement. It’s one of the most important parts of American history. The right, that you are your own person, and no one has the right to discriminate you based on religious, racial or gender basis, is the result of that war and history. You can read more about it here.
But in recent times, everything is defined by the law, and there are quite a few laws that came after the civil rights movement, that apply to all of us. You all deserve to know your rights, knowledge, moral and firm beliefs are the core of the fight against discrimination. To join the fight, for all the people in the world that are a little different, to help them, and to help yourself, to raise your voice, you have to know before you can fight.
So, we are showing you, that you importance, is not just a silly idea that you might have in your head (as oppressed people often seem to think of themselves), but on the contrary, you ARE important. And you should stand tall for yourself, and for everyone that is being oppressed.
Age Discrimination – it is forbidden by law, to discriminate candidates that apply for a job position based on their age.
ADA – people with disabilities are protected by law, from any kind of mistreatment and discrimination.
Civil Rights Act – people shouldn’t be discriminated based on race, color, religion, sex and national origin.
Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act – all people should be provided the medical operations, regardless of their race, color, religion, sex and national origin.
Equal Credit Opportunity – all people should be considered for a credit or a loan no matter what race, color, religion, sex and national origin they belong to.

Pregnancy Discrimination Act – every female worker that is pregnant or intends to conceive a child has the right to be considered for a job, and shouldn’t be discriminated because of it.
As you can see, in today’s society a lot of things don’t work accordingly, no matter that there are countless acts and laws. You are the change. State your beliefs and let yourself be heard!
