Last week, DJ Self did share a video on his Instagram page, in which Black Rob said he was both homeless and battling several health issues, including kidney failure as reported by the New Musical Express.

“I don’t know where to begin,” Curry said in a video tweet on Saturday. “Rob passed away.” Mark Curry said that he was going to hold the hip-hop performer’s hand at the end. He’d been hospitalized and was suffering several health problems in recent years before dying of cardiac arrest, Curry said.
